H&M Sweater: Los Angeles Style Edition
Los Angeles
It’s always confusing to really figure out how to dress in Los Angeles. On one hand, it’s mid-December and while getting into the holiday spirit of things, it’s only natural to want to wear a knit scarf, a cozy sweater, a fuzzy beanie, and some rain-repellant boots. (Basically, I want to embody Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone and make it fashion.) But in sunny LA, you can take one step outside and quickly realize you’ll be sweating by lunch time if you commit to that kind of wardrobe.
As a fashion blogger, it’s somewhat idyllic to live in SoCal, because its weather allows for skirts and tanks all year round. So while I’d love to be cozied up in a nice warm wool coat, for now I’m okay just pretending to have winter weather in this cream H&M oversized sweater. I guess I’ll live.
I’ve paired this knit with my favorite denim cutoff skirt from Urban Outfitters. I also wore my Aldo boots in neutral (which are super comfy btw) for a casual boho vibe, and to get some sort of semblance of a winter ensemble.
And just wanted to mention I’m completely in love with this Free People bag I received as a gift from my stylish friend, Jess (check out her amazing feed here). I desperately needed a handbag upgrade, and this one is so cute! Plus she knows me well - I’m obsesseddd with Free People. The original is sold out on their website, but I linked a similar one below!
I’m just hoping next time I blog, I’ll have colder weather to report.
xo,
