Spill the Tea: Best Reads, Instagrams, and Podcasts of the Month
Here we go again for the month of June. Honestly, there was quite a bit I got into this last month including like murder and shit. Honestlyyy was never super into the crime mystery podcast genre (I prefer lighthearted, entertaining podcasts), but I got swooped in and it’s below lol.
Aside from crime haha, this round up also ranges from all things fashion, skincare, and travel. I’ve compiled up books, podcasts, articles, and whatever else has caught my tiny attention span lately.
So sit back, and enjoy this month’s tea:
Monthly Round-Up
I’ve Been Thinking About Ariana Grande’s ‘Vogue’ Cover Story All Day
I mean, how can you not? Honestly, Ari is killin’ it and I’m here for it. Ty ty Annie Leibovitz.
Ariana Grande on Grief and Growing Up
Speaking of.. a must-read. I’ve followed this girl since she was pre-The Way and I’m so happy she’s getting all the success she deserves. She’s always had the voice, and I think now she’s found her niche and it’s her time. Her ‘thank u, next’ era.
This. Podcast. A coworker recommended this to me and I have to say it’s pretty addicting. I’m near the end of it (episode 10 I believe) andddd it’s getting pretty juicy. If you’re into murder mystery podcasts, definitely give this one a listen.
Daisy Jones and the Six
I haven’t finished this book yet, but so far my book club is loving it. It’s written in the style of a VH1 band documentary which is a refreshing change of pace. More on this once I finish it, but so far I love that all of the female characters are strong leads. They make me wanna start an all girl rock band.
Best Instagram to Follow @the_creamglow
I just recently found this insta account but they have the cutest beauty illustrations. I’m obsessed with these artsy drawings! So chic.
The Travel Products ITG Can't Live Without
Fave products for your next vacay for literally every type of traveler there is. Personally, I fall under the category of the Reader. Love a good sunscreen and moisturizer haha. What about you?
When They See Us on Netflix
Definitely a must-see. Very well directed. Amazing actors. And the story they tell needed to be told. Also highly recommend the Oprah special that follows.
Seriously guys, any favorite shows, favorite blogs, articles, etc., send them my way. Ya girl can never get enough. (Especially since this season’s Bachelorette has been so… weak. Srsly.) Appreciate y’all and hope you enjoyed this month’s round-up.
