(Shelf) Love: Best Skincare Products For Dry Skin

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream and Ultra Facial Cleanser, OUAI Apres-Shampoo, Dior Capture Dreamskin Care & Perfect, and Korres Greek Yoghurt Cleanser

Hi all!

Early last year, I made it a personal goal to invest more in my skincare regimen. Honestly before then I used to just wash my face everyday with just soap and water (lol really) and not stick to any routine. Even when it comes to skincare routines now, I don’t like to get too attached to a specific regimen so that I can let my skin breathe. But, I do try things out for periods of time and I like to stick with the ones that work well and make my skin all glowy.

Since I started blogging, some of these products have been gifted, some I bought on my own, so it’s a mix of products that I tried out and loved. These are the ones that I would buy over and over again mostly because of how they make me feel, their packaging (let’s be real it’s important), and their results.

This is a round-up of some of my absolute faves! If you’ve been with me for a while you probably already know that I have really dry skin. So I tend to lean more towards hydrating types and oils — if you have oily or combination, these may not be the best for you but I still recommend trying things out to see for yourself x

Korres Greek Yoghurt Cleanser Review

Korres is a greek brand and they sent me some of their products to test out late last year. Tbh I hadn’t heard of them before but I checked out their brand and they had a lot of great reviews so I tried it out. This cleanser honestly has a great feel to it, which is probably the greek yogurt aspect: creamy, soft and smooth. I’ve been using it in the shower and it makes me feel v fresh and clean.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser Review

I love this mini cleanser for when I travel. It’s dainty to carry around with and also has a nice dewy texture to it.

Dior Capture Dreamskin Care & Perfect Review

Loove this one. Dior is one of my favorite brands to work with and they have the best products honestly. I started using this one as a primer for my foundation before makeup. It’s moisturizing and very medium-weight in feel.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream Review

One of my favorite products and one of the first I’ve ever blogged about. You really can’t go wrong with Kiehl’s, they’ve been around so long and they obviously know what they’re doing. I love this mini as well for traveling, but also I keep this on my nightstand and dab it under my eyes before bed.

OUAI Apres Shampoo and Conditioner Review

The OUAI set has really nice packaging and seems to be a good staple to have right now. I would say though I’m still on the hunt for something that can make my hair less oily (it’s just naturally very oily later), but this will suffice until I find something better. It’s a nice starter shampoo.

Just wanted to share because I love pampering myself and it’s one of my favorite forms of self care (I am really missing the sauna rn) so having products that feel good and actually work are soo important to me. If you’re bored at home and want to up your skincare game, try some of these out! (pro-tip: usually Sephora or Ulta both have mini sizes if you want to test some of these out before committing to the bigger size hehe).
