a list of resources for supporting the Black Lives Matter movement

I want to start this off by saying that I’m really not the expert in this situation. Growing up half filipino and half white in America, I’ve experienced a different set of racism and dealt with bi-racial issues that I still deal with today. But whatever discrimination or problems I’ve felt, I know that the black community has suffered far worse issues and obstacles and so today, all I want to do is be of help and try to spread the knowledge I have, the resources I’m using, and ways that we can all learn how to be more tolerant, more educated, and more kind.

I think there are obvious ways we can be helpful: donating to organizations, signing petitions, raising awareness, and more (which I’ve linked at the bottom of this post).

But I also think a very powerful way to learn, in addition to the above, is by consuming content created by black artists, regularly in your everyday life. So I wanted to share a couple shows, podcasts, and books I either have watched/read or am planning to that maybe can help listed below:
