Why Revolve Clothing is Still My Favorite Place to Shop
Yes, it’s pricey. But I love Revolve Clothing so much, because it’s ideal for when you want to shop for that one look. Whether you’re looking for a unique two-piece set for Coachella, or just one floral statement dress for spring, I always have the best luck shopping there.
Like this dress. (My bank account is hurting) but I feel so happy and confident when I wear it. I get tons of compliments on it and it’s the perfect little number to wear to anything this upcoming spring/summer season.
It’s super lightweight, and I love the material they used for the pattern (feels somewhere in between silky soft and cozy cotton). It’s durable but also has a very breathable feel. It also has a couple of buttons down in the front, so that you can wear it as a plunge neck look, or button it up to be a little more modest. (My boyfriend prefers the more modest look.) For reference, I’m wearing a size XS, which felt a little tight but just snug around the waist. And it fits perfectly midi making it a cute ensemble for a date or brunch out with your friends. I’m not sure about you but for tall girls, midi dresses are a blessing.
As much as I love this dress, I must admit it can be a dangerous game to shop at Revolve consistently — especially with Afterpay coming into the mix (seriously, just take my money now).
I don’t shop there all the time, because ya girl would go broke. But every now and then I love to come to the site and treat myself to something I really can’t get my eye off of. Like this florally piece of sunshine.
I paired this look with a simple straw bag from Urban Outfitters too to complete this Southern Belle-inspired vibe. I thought it was fitting for my most recent trip to NOLA (travel guide coming soon!).
But to be completely honest, I just finished Beyonce’s Netflix Homecoming film and I have never been so inspired to be my best self. And sometimes that means investing in yourself and making yourself look as good as you feel.
So thanks Revolve (and Bey), for the mental pep talk.
