'Tis the Season for Red Cups
Los Angeles
I’m always a sucker for these red cups. Even when it’s the day after Thanksgiving, I can’t help but let my inner basic self gravitate towards the closest Starbucks drive-thru for my grande iced white mocha latte.
The red cups almost complement as a stylish accessory during the holidays. Since we don’t get actual snow here in LA, sometimes you have to improvise. As my go-to holiday outfit, I always try to put together a nice pair of pants with some low-block heels, with a red cup in hand.
I wore these super comfy Zara pants in plaid to give off a bit of a polished look. I paired it with my neutral Michael Kors bag as a final touch and wore my hair in loose, messy waves for an undone look. I call this my meet-the-parents outfit because it’s casual but you still look stylish and approachable.
Do you have a go-to mom-appropriate outfit? Do you sometimes buy coffee because it also doubles as a great prop for photos? (cause same, girl.) Feel free to drop a comment or slide into my DMs your fave outfits or drinks for the holidays - love to hear from y’all.
That being said, I’m actually about to prep a three-cheese mac&cheese recipe for my boyfriend’s family for Christmas Eve tomorrow, and do the same for my family on Christmas. Needless to say, I’ll have my hands full for the next two days. So wish me luck and I hope everyone enjoys their much-deserved family time this holiday.
