3 Ways to Style Your Bikini This Summer

Even though it’s technically ending soon, I refuse to end the era of our hot girl summer. Plus, I have a feeling weather-wise, it’s still going to be a hot for quitee a while since summer hit us late anyways.

And personally, I’m a fan of wearing bathing suits as tops, or wearing them whenever I can get away with it. The trick to this though is finding cute, versatile ways to style your swimwear so that it doesn’t look like you’re wearing the same bikini all summer lol.

I only went to the beach once so far and was able to pull together this easy 3-piece ensemble. Reggie and I went to Seal Beach to stroll around for lunch and coffee with our dog, and I wore this little number. I paired this ruffled bandeau top with high-waisted white shorts for my ‘boardwalk’ look. Perfect for strolling along on Main without raising too many eyebrows haha.

When we went to the actual beach, obviously, no extra ensemble is needed! But I do recommend three main things: 1) wearing cute dainty jewelry (always a MUST when trying to look chic in swimwear) 2) bringing a net bag, a book you’re reading, or an edition of kinfolk to carry around 3) a stylish pair of sunnies that you can’t live without. Add these together and you’ve added a little fashion just beyond your swimsuit.

My favorite look however is this next one. It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the oversized denim layer haha, but seriously, it just makes you look relaxed and posh. This Levi’s jacket that I snagged at the Rose Bowl Flea Market for $35 honestly was suchhh a steal, and I highly recommend investing in at least one oversized denim piece for layering.

These tips are great if you plan on wearing the same bikini over and over again but want to mix it up just enough haha. But also, who are we kidding? I bought three other bathing suits for my trip to Mexico next month, just in case you know. Gotta have options haha. Like. 5.

Technically, it’s not my fault! Princess Polly sent me this cute yellow number, and I invested in these one pieces (this and this from Forever 21). Somebody pls send help.
