It's been 14 years since that show aired, and even still, when I head down to the O.C. I can't help but think of Lauren Conrad and all of her drama unfold via reality tv in my high school years. *cue Hilary Duff's Coming Clean* 

Now mid-twenties, I still love to come to Laguna as a little mini-escape. Only a 40-min drive from where I live currently, I still maintain it as one of the nicest beaches with an airy, picturesque aesthetic.

While strolling along downtown with my boyfriend/insta-husband, I wore a minimal cream top and casual trousers—ideal for beach weather. I sported this Forever 21 off-white pant with an off-the-shoulder top (also from Forever) paired with this cutest little straw bag (courtesy of one of my dear friends). For summer, I think it's key to keep things light and simple. Pretty sure for the rest of the hotter weather, I'll be sticking to this neutral cream color palette.
