(Shelf) Love: Best Moisturizer for Dry Skin

Back again with this series, where I talk about some of my favorite products and how they’ve worked for me (see the Glossier best primer edition here). For my second product, seriously couldn’t wait to talk about about this little gem.

Let me start off by saying I have a pretty dry skin type. For me, it’s a constant struggle and I’m always looking for products that keep my skin hydrated and smooth. So I came across this cream and have been using it nightly for about over a month now.

So here are my overall thoughts for this Kiehl’s Ultra Facial cream:

Feel: I could be biased but I love the way this feels just after I put it on. It has a slight thick consistency and rubs in pretty easily, leaving you with deeply-moisturized skin perfect for right before bed.

Packaging: I’m a fan of the simple, all-white packaging. It’s cute and I leave it on my night stand (for convenience) and for aesthetics, let’s be real.

Perseverance: After using this for about a month, I can honestly feel the improvement on my skin with overall softness. I’ve also had less dry problem areas (my forehead and around the bottom of my nose). It’s sort of one of those products that afterwards you feel like, wow I can’t go back to the way it was before lol.

Lasting thoughts: 10/10! Again, I’m probably super biased but if you have dry skin, then truuust me this is a must. I seriously always have flakes and don’t take enough care of my skin, but this is a super simple cream where I just put on a dab or so before bed and let it work its wonders over night. Obsessed.
