The Zara Trench Coat: 'New Year, New Me' Edition

New neutrals!
Some of my favorite pieces so far this year have included all things with neutral color palettes. First off, I’m in love with this beige trench coat from Zara. When I first saw it hanging on the rack, I assumed it would be upwards of $100, but I snagged this one for under $50. It’s super comfy, suede material, and is perfect to keep you warm for the colder months for Los Angeles. It’s unfortunately sold out on the Zara website, but I linked a similar one below!
I paired this jacket with this cream dress from PacSun. PacSun always surprises me because I never really go in there looking for anything specific, but I end up finding amazing basics. This dress is a little more fit for spring or summer, but paired with this jacket still gives it a nice LA winter-esque look.
My neutral bag I have Crossroads Trading & Co. to thank for. I brought in a couple of my old clothes to sell and I was able to trade in some pieces for two bags, including this one. Such a great find! If you have old items from Zara or other comparable brands, I highly recommend going. Going through and getting rid of some of your old clothes is a great way to rid yourself of clutter to start off the new year (plus, brownie points for recycling/donating clothes!)
